refurbing light units. Help?

hey guys,

for some reason i cant get onto fcc from my house so gonna ask on here.

i'm refurbing and painting the inside of the lights on the coupe, taken them off, have a heat gun and am not sure how i should do this, should the lens come away from the light unit easily cos it isnt and it started to make the plastic go weird

Oh and I'd prolly hold back on doing anything until you've chatted with people who have done the job.

Bear in mind the Bravo headlight is glass whereas the Coupe one is plastic due to its shape. Over-heat the plastic and you'll be screwed!

already done it without speaking to anyone lol, urm, not done too bad a job, but then decided aswell as painting the plastic i want to sand the lens etc and regret it, its such a b*tch of a job!
