Technical Red Key Punto w-reg mk2

Hi I am going to buy a mk2 w-reg punto tomorrow and it only has one key, no red key. I have heard that the red key system went from 1995-2000, does that include w-reg punto's or did it end at v-reg cars? Not sure what model the punto is but it has a 1.2 engine, no e/w or r/c/l. Can anyone help?

no mk2 punto no red key, but you will need a spare that can only be got from fiat, that is £60-£70

I have got the same car and confirm that i only got two blue keys. I believe that there is some kind of code card available though so you can limp home in case of emergency. I need to look into this a little more and see what it is as i don't have one...
