General Red/ blue key question

hi every one

is there any one that can help me please

im new to this site. i just bought a fiat punto xreg car which only came with one blue key.

i think my modle doesent have the red key , but i know that it should of came with a key code card with it dident.

would it be possble for fiat to still issue them to the owner of the car, or is my car too old for them to give me the key code card.

p.s soz about my spelling , grammer

if you after a spare key.. get the blue one cut.. and use the new one and keep the blue as a spare.

altho fiat will give you a new key if needed... cost quite a bit tho

You cant copy a MK2 key.

Hi, the mk2 key contains a transponder & this has to be programmed to the car (dealer only), the key will have to be purchased from Fiat dealer around £140 this includes the programming, they get the codes to do this job so ask for them, you may need ID to prove you own the car ie, logbook/driving licence, you can get a spare key cut at Timpsons ETC but this will only open doors/boot but won't start car.
