Yes it's surprisingly shallow and in fact several large ships like oil tankers are too deep to get through.

That was the reason the XC90 we ordered took 18 months to arrive, because they had to replace all the cars that were destroyed. I think they were all destined for the US.

Mind you I know a garage under the railway arches which could have had them on the road in a couple of days.
