Small issue with my daughter's 2006 1.1 panda.
The recirculating knob which controls the fresh air or recirculation air (if the outside is in polluting traffic), has a kind of flopping motion so it always falls down to fresh air. This is fortunate, but it would be nice if it did both. Any ideas why it will not stay in recirculating mode?

I remember my 05 Panda doing this.

I can’t remember the exact steps, but have a play about with the other heating dials.

Something tells me it’s designed so that if you’re in one particular mode (clear windscreen mode perhaps?) that it forces you to be in fresh air mode.

I think I remember also having a combination where the fresh air / recirculate dial was hard or hesitant and had to be forced only to return back to the other side.

Maybe someone else who still has a Panda 169 can confirm?

The knob moves very freely. It is as though it has weights on it, always defaulting to fresh air. But, if you want it recirculating it does not hold the position.
