Styling Recaro or Cobra

Looking at replacing all the seats in the GP 1.9.

I've heard down the grape vine that the corsa vxr seats are a direct replacement, but any ideas where to source some from?

Can you buy any recaro's or cobra seats or will they need sub frames?

Corsa vxr ones will go straight in. Ebay and Corsa VXR forum is your best bet. Quite easy to get hold of to be honest, just hold a hefty price tag.

Any other aftermarket seat and your going to need subframes for them.

I've just bought a set, took me about 2-3 months to find a set, as soon as they come up grab them! But you'll have to pay alot!

How much did you pay for yours? And were they from ebay? is it worth looking at scrappies aswell?

they are about 600 - 800 for the front pair, unless you find someone who doesnt know what they are worth

What about bucket seats that were designed for the VXR? Shouldn't they be a straight swap?

How do you remove the seats anyway? Do you have to take off the subframe and then turn it upside down to get the seat off it?

they are the recaros, look at my thread i paid 750 for the full interior, will be splitting what doesn't fit

Yeah I'm trying to take my passenger seat out atm but the electrical connectors are a pain

just unclip the seat belt (push pin in and pull out)
then the big plug, you have to slide the grey bit and the plug unplugs half way, then pull the rest
