Hi Guys & Girls,
Sorry to say iam not computer minded lol, but i do try my best
, but iam beat, and looking for help please,
Long story but i try and keep it short and sweet.......
My XP PC that Ive had for yearsssssss to put it polity has got very slow,so i thought i would reboot using the recovery disc as Ive done before using the recovery disc, now all is well....well pleased,
This is where it all went wrong...Argh!
So the reboot was successful,so i got started i downloaded Firefox and started updating windows...as you do,which all went well until it installed service pack 3 or Firefox became my new browser of choice?for some unknown reason it said that the XP operating system needed to be be validated when on the windows update page,so i followed the on line instructions then i just get a white black screen as if the next page doesn't load?then on one occasion i think it said?, that i wasn't using a legal copy....WTF........I CAN TELL YOU RIGHT NOW THAT IT IS!,AS THIS PC WAS BOUGHT FROM PC WORLD MANY MANY MOONS AGO,
So now i can't seem to go any further with regards to updating and keeping my system up to date?,
It all seems to be working as it once did.......much more responsive than it was....that's for sure,BUT I CAN'T SEEM TO GET ROUND TO VALIDATING MY WINDOW XP OPERATING SYSTEM USING MY PRODUCT PASS KEY,
Can anyone please shed some light on this for me,ITS CRACKING ME UP!,
Cheers Don
