My rear wiper, now stops where ever it is switched off instead of returning to its original spot. I have heard that this is due to a faulty relay, could someone please tell me which relay this is and where it is located..and Yes I am to tight to buy a Haynes Manual..
But hey if you have one why not email me the piccys .even better....

Cheers Jitter

it could be a switch inside the motor that stays closed until it reaches the park position.
i dont know about the relays.

Re: Re: Rear Wiper Relay ??

Not so much a relay, more a switch. Power is supplied to the motor constantly even when you switch the wipers off and it is the "park switch", located in/on the wiper motor itself, which chops the power finally as the wiper moves to the park position. Different models have different motors so follow the wires going directly into the wiper motor and look for, if you're lucky, a plastic switch body which often slides out and off the motor casing. If not then it will be part of the motor's internal wirings but are usually not to difficult to get at.

Re: Re: Re: Rear Wiper Relay ??

Can these be repaired or is it a case of put up with it or replace the whole motor
