right here goes, hlx rear wiper has been makin a noise since i had it last year, it sounds like its hittin somethin and i thought it would be the motor on its way out, now i`ve had the motor out to sort another problem but it carried on.
eventually i`ve figured out that its actually hitting the standard spoiler at the back and the spoiler has not been moved to cause this.

so what can i do about it, do i losen up a bolt or move the motor some how.

and it doesn`t do it all the time either and it seems to miss the window where it should be wiping at the top

BRAVO, why settle for anything less.

Would I be right in guessing that you've had a new wiper blade on it and it's been doing it since then ?
I had the same problem when I bought an aftermarket blade for it that had a little more depth to it and it lifted the wiper just enough to clip the hlx spoiler at the top of the stroke, when it's vertical.
Go for the de-wiper option, saves on noises, replacing blades and replacing motors !

I used the plug/big fat round headed bolt that the citroen AX has to hole the rear glass in.
Just stick a big washer on the inside and away you go.

@Rob i had the same problem after installing a new wiper motor, was catching on the HGT rear spoiler, a wee bit of jiggery and untightning and retightnig and its fixed.
