Looking at the rear of the punto evo 1.2 8 valve 2010 over the weekend, I noticed a possible slight rear wheel negative camber on both rear wheels.

Cannot say I have noticed it before, probably was not looking really.

Haynes chocolate teapot manual says nothing of rear wheel camber but does mention rear wheel alignment.

Each side looks an equal amount. Handbrake was on so wheel bearings, which are ok, ruled out.

We have not jacked the rear of the car up via the twist beam, nor has the tyre place as far as we know.

If car was jacked up by the twist beam centre, i would expect a positive camber to creep in ?

Anyone on here know if rear wheels have negative camber please ?

also,

The rear axle mountings, the ones to the actual body, any "locating holes" for alignment of this part each side ??

This is for future reference for when the axle etc. comes off for a de rust and paint.

Thanks in advance....pd19

Thanks mike, will try and print that off tommorrow.

I may have a few icme was it, tech data books, I know I have one autodata book, will dig them out for paosal.

Thanks again....

Thanks guys, will print it hat lot out when next in library, kind coing heels again today waiting for parcel that ain't gunna arrive and a ffffedex phone call.

Any info on beam bracket to body alignment, any aligning pips on bracket base or do the bolts do that please ?

There is no "bracket to body" alignment (unless you have a special fixture/jig). There is a wheel alignment and the axles spacing (2510 mm)!
Polish forum (warning, if you use Google Translate, it'll be rubbish): https://fiatpunto.com.pl/topic62202.html
Same thing as simplified video (not whole process, undoing every bolt etc.). Axles alignment IS doable at home, just a bit annoying/tricky.

Thanks GP,

Vidio doesn't want to play on phone so will try in library.

Will do some research on epar and elearn...

Maybe the 3 bolts align bracket properly/automatically...

I could always drill 2 holes thru bracket and body in situe and weld nut to bracket for alignment pins, but that's a bag of sweets for the summer...

Love the blue colour, hammerite smooth ?

The hammerite smooth silver seem to make a good primer...

No, almost nothing will "align automatically" and that's not a "problem" here at all (just a small inconvenience).
You'll understand after watching the video (the 251_cm front-rear rim measurement and correction, bare hand).
Do not drill holes. Unless you know (geometry/alignment check), that all parameters are 100% OK now (before the job).
"Paint" (coating) is a "2K" (two-component) product (paint + hardener).

The biggest problem for me, were old rusty brake lines/hoses. I almost quit (small gas torch saved the day).
