Rear Shocks how much?

My 1.4sx 96 has just failed its mot for a leaky rear shock, the garage are about to phone me back with a quote, any idea how much this should end up costing?
any quick replies gratefully accepted

never mind

I have just heard back from the garage, new shockers are only 30 or something but then the mot and the labour and the VAT come to £200.

Oh well at least they are only going to charge for one mot rather than the re test aswell.

And they kindly pointed out that the recon gearbox which was fitted two weeks ago, is sh*gged and leaking oil, so back to mr clutch it will go!
