General rear interior light

des anyone know how the rear interior light works in a doblo cargo.if the engine is running its on all the time but when i open the reardoors it works for a few minutes then stops working.is it on some type of timer.

Not sure about the Cargo.
Mine comes on if you open the side or rear doors and it does seem to be on a timer but it stays on for a long time.

The car has two, one in the boot area, which is on the door switch, the other on the top rail, which is manually switched.
