How is the plastic diffuser on the rear bumper fitted? Or more importantly how do I remove it? Any help or guides would be greatly apreciated, I plan to have it painted back to black. As it has faded rather drastically.

I also have an issue with my boot which has annoyed me now I have found it, god knows how much it will cost to repair. But it seems that the bottom of the rear glass where it meets the boot body work has been pooling up with rain water and washer liquid so much so it has started to rot the paint work. It has started to bubble and I'm guessing if it was peeled back there would be rust. How much is a boot panel respray, bearing in mind that the rear glass will have to come out.

Hey Mathew

This stuff will restore your rear bumper plastic to a nice black:-

As for your boot I would get your paint code and have a search for Bravos being broken for parts on ebay, if your lucky you might be able to get one that you can just swap over.
Chances are even with the colour code the panel probably won't match, colours fade at different rates and some have salt damage from coastal areas etc, If I'm going to get it fixed I'll do it at a garage hat can match the colour for me.

Thanks for the link. Is it any better than Simoniz back to black stuff. As I've been using that and it just isn't that good. It makes it black for about a week lmao

I can see your point about the colour fade, I have done this before with a previous car and just got it machine polished to bring it up the same as the rest of the car.

Longlife is a more "professional" product, make sure you where some gloves and I always mask off the area so as to not get it on the paintwork. Still it wont last forever but a lot longer than any off the shelf from Halfrauds etc.. lol
