Hi everyone,

Has anyone here had experience replacing the rear coil springs on a Fiat Stilo Multiwagon (2007)? One of them is broken and needs to be replaced.
I’d really appreciate any advice or tips on what to keep in mind during the replacement. Are there any common pitfalls, special tools, or things worth checking while doing the job?

Thanks in advance for your help!

From memory, changing the rears on a 1.8 3 door many moon s ago, it was quite straightforward using standard spring compressors, and relatively easy to do, assuming that you've changed springs on other cars before.

However if you've never changed a spring before, it can be/is a very dangerous activity, and best left to a garage.
