@nitro warrior -

May I ask where you got your Scotch Weld DP805 from and how much you paid for it? I can't find anything useful using Google. It sounds ideal for a small job I need to do on Satan's Rodent.

I got mine through my old work, we used it for attaching electronic devices to the side of power tools, it really is very strong.

The downside is you will only find it through industrial distributer type companies. Should be able to contact 3M for UK suppliers.
In theory one tube costs about £12. But the the supplier we used only sold it in packs of 12

(DP810 is the same as DP805 but with a 10min setting time rather than 5min)

You can improvise with out one, but it helps if you have an applicator gun (£20) and acrylic mixing nozzles too (10p)

It's expensive but it is very good, i've fixed stuff you wouldn't dream of fixing with Araldite or superglue.

I had heaps of trouble with my rear bumper. I tried jamming things in to stop the square bolt moving but with no luck. Finally I found that the nut and bolt can move along the bracket and all you have to do is knock it in the direction of the front of the car.

Then you can jam a flat head screw driver in towards the rear of the bracket. it then levers and holds the square while you undo the nut.

All after some wd40 of course lol.
