Technical rear axle

just taken the tipo to a friends garage and after a few hours or staring measuring etc etc i need a new rear axle it seems to be bent on the passenger side!!

does anyone know if a 1.9td tipo rear axle fits to the sedi??

does anyone have a spare sedi rear axle lol(dont need radius arms etc)?

does any other tipo rear axle fit the sedi??

I think the dampers and springs are the only differences... the arms are the same. obviously this is conjecture only but i think it's the case

any axle will fit dave, its only the hubs/stub axles that are different really....

Tipo,Tempra, and Dedra,Delta till 1995or 1996-i think, have same rear axle, if yours a sedici need a axle with disc brakes and ABS if fitted

yes its a sedi obviously lol, wouldnt have anything different now. found an axle at a scrappy's up here £100 off a 1.9td i phoned around every scrappy within a 100 mile radius of perth, scotland and there was only 1 scrappy with a tipo!! hopefully going to get the axle tomorrow

does anyone know how easy it is to change??

i just changed my rear bushes was a pig of a job lol now this

ok just travelled to the scrappies after confirming they have a tipo this morning and in fact they dont. been on phone for a further 2 hours phoning every scrappy in scotland and none have a tipo. anyone got a rear axle for sale, right now i'd even settle for a scrap tipo with a good rear axle and buy it!!

need help guys

dave oh dave, You missed out there mate i scrapped a axle not long ago.... Find a cheap tipo get the axle and scrap the rest, even a 1.4 will do the job!!!
Thats all i did with mine to convert it was bolt on the hubs and away you go.... Sweet and easy ...Dazzo

thanks for the offer trevor ut ireland is a tad far for me and i dont know any lorry drivers.

got an axle today off a 1.4 tipo, my question is do i have to renew the bushes that are on the axle mounts and if so where would i get them could anyone help me with this??

thing is i'm upgrading all the suspension etc as i'm lowering it and upgrading to adjustable gas shocks.

also the bushes that are on the doner axle are from a 1.4 and its going on a 2.0. are they the same?

either way the ones that are on the doner axle are a bit shabby to say the least, so can you get new one's preferably uprated and if so where?
