ok can you get polys for rear axle? (where?) is FIAT part best replacement? tried Shadeyman but no luck getting in touch

No.... the Stilo rear axle bushes are a special oil filled hydraulic bush. Sometimes, the first sign of them going is oil leaking out onto the ground. They have to be able to twist and compress as the suspension rises and lowers so solid poly bushes would not be suitable.

ok davren thanks mate, what would i do without FF?
Are the ones off shop 4 parts genuine fiat ones?
No they're Birth manufacturer. I've not used Birth bushes, but I bought their front hub flanges for £13 each from S4P (Fiat price £80 each) which seen to be of good quality.
