Have wanted to turn the little cap on the end of my sei mirrors into side repeaters for ages! i dont wana mount leds in them i want to replace the whole cap and have it custom made! I havent got the faintest wot type of company i need to contact to do this! I surpose i need a clear piece of plastic that fits in the place of it! Any ideas who i could contact about getting this done?

Two ways of doing it come to mind: either heat form perspex or polycarbonate to the shape required (you could use a hardwood former and a heat gun) or cast the damn thing in casting resin.
Either way, it's something like a days work at £30 an hour and the result won't be e marked............
A more legal (and probably easier) way would be to take one of the accessory motorbike ones (Halfords usually have a few to give you ideas) and cast a new mirror shell to suit.
All ways are incredibly time consuming and labour intensive. I really doubt you'll find anyone willing to take it on. DIY?

Think this would be better in the styling thread. However I think vac forming is the answer.

I think its more hassle than its worth.
its a lot of work tbh to get a OE finish.
perhaps getting a flat top or surface mount led and fitting it flush would work?
