thank you.

Fanbelt, cambelt and waterpump replacement would not make any change whatsoever to any jurking.

When was it last serviced?

Whats the engine size?

i think the spark plugs were changed on the service. but dont know if the ht plugs were how often do you have to change the plugs? thanks

If you've done 12,000 miles, its due for a service. I'd service it, run some Forte Fuel Treatment thru the petrol tank and see if things improve. If no change, you've not lost out as you're due a service anyway.

Some times my old man would say switch the lights off and stare at the engine running in pitch dark reving it up abit from the cable, if u see something thats the problem.... and he was right...

Mechanic said change the coil pack and i just changed it! still doing the same thing cutting out and it is not running properly! what should i doo!!!! it feels as its gonna cut of any min

I think you must have covered the electrics now, How about mechanical? Valves, Camshaft etc. best get a diognostic or you could be there for ever. It could even be the ecu

i dont know what it can be the mechainic has got the car at the moment so tom when i go c the car tomorrow i will get the picture up for you sorry taking long.

re really need help

I have a 1997 Bravo and I have been having the same problems as you guys by the sounds of it.
Spluttering, cutting out, not pulling away, revs dropping, delay when changing gear even though accelerator down.
Then this morning it cut out and heard metal crunching.. managed to restart but now clunking as though a joint or something has gone.
HELP!!???

lisa my problem is sorted. i changed the coilpack, spark plugs and ht leads and now its sorted.

was going to just advise of that, the coil pack on my 1.8 hlx broke around a month ago, and it juddered constantly when idling, but once i got going it seemed to be ok. Eventually went down to firing on 3 cyl when it went pop.
