Thanks for the replies.
I guess it really is a Sporting then.
Bearing in mind that I am 50 & SWMBO is older, I am about to upset all here.
She wants to "quieten" the Sporting as she feels the "noise" is unfair on the neighbours @ 5 am when she goes to work and I have to agree!
What is involved in changing to a smaller bore exhaust (ie, will I need a different manifold etc. etc? I realise that performance will be reduced ( with her driving that's probably for the best anyway ), but is it possible?
Please put aside any prejudices you may have for originality I am all for it but in this case I feel it is necessary!
Any other advice on de-tuning would be welcomed as the car will also be driven by our 2 sons ( 17 & 24 ) who so far are only learning & our other son (21) who has been driving for 3 years - think of the premiums, I already have a mortgage & cannot afford another!
Cheers & sorry for the blasphemy & thanks again,
Chris.
