When the car has stopped due to this problem, try to start the car, then whip a plug out. If its wet its an ignition problem, possiby coils breaking down.
If dry, then its a fuel supply problem, so start to look at fuel relay, pump, etc.

I think it might be ignition, as the lambda is seeing unburnt fuel.

coolent temp sensor?

the twin pin one on the thermostat? if its hot and its reading cold itll put more fuel in?

failing that does anyone have a known good set of coils?
 
right, after buying a couple of 2nd hand coils and ecu and few other bits and fitting a new coolent sensor

guess what was wrong

after spending about £250 on it

a £2 relay :bang:


yey its fixed dammit i fixed it the long way round :bang:

Unlucky Adam. Sometimes things just work out that way...

On the plus side, you've done a lot of work to the Cinq that would eventually need doing anyway! :)
