I just returned from looking at my MoHo, and as per earlier posts on this fault, it may help if I tell you all that, I assumed the ASR was ok, it clearly is not. To recap- I changed a dead battery, and since then have a permanent ABS and handbrake/fluid/failure, i.e. the 2 warning lights on. But not, if IIRC, the ASR one. Turns out, altho it all was good before the battery went, I can now no longer switch on the ASR too. I had thought it was OK, but tried it yesterday. I hope to have a go with multiecuscan soon, but meanwhile, I checked all the fuses the handbook lists, for ABS, I might have missed some as the listing contains some rather cryptic naming. The year is 2005, 2.8JTD. IIRC I checked F20, F42, and another. All were Ok. I have the e-learn but coverage of the system is poor. I cannot find reference to any relays (there must be some involved?), so if anyone can advise me where to look, I would be really grateful. BTW, I see from e-learn that the 2 lights indicate EBD (distribution front/back) failure,,,,,all fluid levels and handbrake switch being correct, as they are.Cheers!

Main power is via F04 50A fuse in the enginebay fusebox F26 and f42 both 7.5A are also supplying the abs unit.

As the battery was the last thing you messed with I would first check you haven't simply dislodged the front right wheel sensor connector.

Hi Corcai,, good point re the wheel sensor.. will check it. I got the fuse numbers above partly wrong, I did check F04 the big 50A one in enginebay fuse box. I will also check the + battery plate connector, there is a lot of stuff bolted on to that.... I did finally find something on eLearn, but it seems both indications together is quoted as BD fail,,,if i get down tomorrow, I now have the full version of MES so will try to connect and see. Cheers!
