Apologies for the spelling,i should say it is the part which is activated by opening the door from the outside. the exterior door handle at the moment cannot be used.

can you open the door from the inside? if so, remove door card, get another bit from scrapper or someone here may have one

Yes, the door can only be opened from the inside. I don't want to start taking it to bits until i can identify the part. Local scrappers don't have a bravo. internet scrappers want me to identify the part.

joske would be able to send you the parts diagram but he is no longer a member, not sure if he will see this. only thing i can suggest is take a pic of the bit you want
