RCL Not working :(

have had this RCL kit for donkeys now.
I Bought it off a guy who used to come on here, knowing full well that it was fooked he sold it to me anyway and when I found out there was something wrong with it he disappeared of the face of the earth £40 out of pocket then.

basically, the central locking still works with the rcl relay in place (in place of the standard one) but the remote central locking doesn't. the batteries in the fobs have lots of charge left in them.

any ideas? HELP!!!

Told ya, if you have the key card, go to a repair shop and ask them to check if the roling codes are matchig. It can be that the bloke mixed up the fobs and the relay

yeah, tried that sven. went to local "ice specialists" ICE-Direct in peterborough and they didn't even look at it and told me that I need a new rcl kit at £150 :s

mental.

I know your not from GB Sven, but where would be a good place to take it?

Only place that can look at the codes and compare them is a MetaSystem place or there afiliate

did you get any instructions with it, my mom had this problem with her RCL in her Citroen, the problem was that the RCL reciever and the remote had gone out of sequence, i think she had to hold the button down for 30 seconds or something to get it to re-recognise the signal, could be something similar you have to do, any idea what kit it is??

Lozz - if it was pressed more than 20 times, you will need to press it two times in the range of it so it unlocks/locks. It will work norml after that.
