rattle

Hi need some advice from u boiz... got a mk1 punto fitted with fusion sub and amp, problem is the f***ing rattling, its doing my head in. I've been told to strip the interior of its plastic as to leave just the metal showing, thus preventing the rattles...is this true? I think the major rattling is coming from the actual boot though, any suggestions as to what to do and how to stop it? Cheers.

I have the exact same problem with my uno and my pair of 12" kennys.
Sound deadening is probably your best option...
I've heard the rear number plate causes alot of noise, along with some loose plastic trim.

yer cheers, the number plate's fine, have got bluetack behind it which stops it from rattling. Not sure exactly what to do with the plastic inside the car though, not sure whether to take it all out or to just fill any gaps that may be visibleit etc...Anyone else got a punto and had this problem sorted out or planning to do so?
