ratterling noise

ok u lot... took my car in to fiat yesterday, told them the problem.
1)the ratterly noise
2)the other ratterly noise linked to a cold start and sounds like the fan
3)retarded engine, or starved engine

so in it went for the day...

i recieve the phone call from them saying shes ready to be picked up. this is wat they did....

ratterly noise 1 was the exhaust shield ratterling.
ratterly noise 2 was debris in the fan.
and they couldnt fine anything wrong with the car to make it retard. so they stuck this comp on it and the sensors was out by a fraction so they reset them. not sure if this has fixed that problem, but the ratterly noises r still there. it sounds like a gear box or a clutch problem. but i dont have a clue how to check

Take a look under the hood, in the middle of the engine right at the far back is a cheap metal cover - the manifold cover, 3 of the 4 bolts on mine have come out hence it rattles like hell! make sure the engine is cold and give it a feel
