I've had 2 random thoughts there now.

What was the rarest Panda, and

What's perceived to be the rarest Panda now?

I'm guessing it must be one of the 4x4's

Over to you experts, I only fix them.
 
VIP could be or the holy grail for me is the.....

AF Tann turbo!....:D

I came very close to seeing one of these when I went to Essex to but a bullbar.

The guy was a member on here and was selling a sliver super in immaculate condition at the time. He let slip that he had an AF Tann but was not keen to show me. AF Tann was a fiat dealer that got official permission to produce I think four of these mad cars...in silver top half and black bottom I think.

He was clear it was not for sale....and if your out there..you know who you are!....and want to sell it send me a P.M....(y):)

Among the many legends that lurk in the off-road, one of the most controversial and debated about a mysterious ghost-wheel drive vehicles produced by Fiat, designed initially for the armed forces (early nineties), should be the basis for the subsequent development of a version for the civilian market. Since its size was only slightly above those of first-generation Panda, was hurriedly called "Pando" even though almost nobody has ever seen up close. In fact the vehicle was produced (albeit in only two specimens), but the project has not been developed since the desired military orders never arrived. The "Pando" (the project was designated as Fiat "Panda Torpedo") was equipped with a 1,242 cc engine, capable of developing a power of 71 hp at 5,500 rpm and 103.9 Nm of torque, mated to a manual gearbox 5-speed, four-wheel drive with limited slip rear differential, and electro-pneumatic

i'm wondering did they upgraded electrical instalation to cope with all those lamps/watts?


Any body seen thit one in real ? or even in action?
was it fiat project or custom made one off?

I'm afreid he is.
Fiat have done same project with the new panda aswell.

IMO the rarest mk1 panda is PANDA MANIA,
Stu, if you want to start with new project please go for this one.

Can anybody get some more details of it from Reg number? JYE 380W

Great find bob.....looks incredible. So much work gone into it.

That's made me remember the guy from Canada or USA building the convertible...he was half way through it...anyone know if he finished it?? Or can anyone find the thread??
