Does anybody know anything about the Radbourne panda, as i know of a 1050cc engine that used to be in a Radbourne panda. I tried to ring up Radbourne Racing, but was told that Radbourne fiats was stopped production in 1984, and Radbourne Racing stopped production in 1999 :(. The guy who has the engine wont part with it :bang:, as he seems to think that his rotten 127 will be perfect for the conversion. I managed to get a couple of panda 45 bits off him though (y), as he has a rust ridden 'W' reg panda that the engine came out of.

I doubt it was me, as i had never heard of Radbourne before yesterday.

edit - i guess i should have searched, as it was Vin who posted about it :)

Flared wheelarches
New grille
Oil cooler
'Abarth' & '70bhp' badges
Sporty door mirrors
Cromodora alloy wheels fitted with 155/70 SR13 tyres
70 bhp Abarth engine with Panda cylinder head modified by Radbourne
Alloy Abarth Rocker cover
Twin choke downdraught Weber carburetter
New Through Flow Exhaust System
Abarth Sports Steering wheel

:yum:

i have the document in paper copy :)
it was part of the road test manuals you can get for the car
and i also have the autocar mag that it was in too
anyway, it was a good engine, but i still reckon you can get the same power ouut of the newer "fire" units and get the reliability and spares to boot, the autobianchi blocks are "old tech" and spares for a standard one are difficult to got let alone for a performance lump

I might be able to get the arch extensions, as i have rang up the guy, and he doesnt need them for the 127 :). I tried to get the doors off the car, as they look good from a distance, but the as i was taking the passenger door off my hand went through the metal (or should that be lack of metal :D)

Here you go :)

i'd love to take fibreglass moulds of those so that more of us can have these arch extensions as i understand they are out of production, for a small donation to the forum of course;)

does anyone have a set of the arches??
i work in fibreglass and would love toi get hold of a set to borrow then make a copy of them?? will send recorded delivery! thenthe whole forum will benefit from my fibreglassing skills:D and they aint bad too. (i once scratch built a kit for the race panda i made that had the integrale arches looked tasty)
if not anyone know of where i could get the seat group2 arches as the thread suggests they are the same?
not sure if they were fitted to the group2 seat panda's for rallying?
will try seat:yuck: forum too.
