@ Sven : No.9 mate..
I took both bulbs out of both sides and cleaned um with bit of sand paper and noticed my break bulb was bit dark at top :s But it hadnt blown, still works hmm confused now.

The connectors aren't under the fusebox but connected to the lid. However i remembered your cars engine has been removed and replaced, therefore what would of been fitted on say a 1.4 wont necessarily be there for a 2.0. Hmmm. As Sven pointed out thats your ABS diagnostic plug i think. Seems the other connectors are missing. I'll need to do some further research and see if you can trace the wires back to the connector. They may well be tucked behind the battery and ABS unit

yer thats right mate. The engine is out of a marea if thats of any help to ya? The full loom is there, proper jobby :) There probably just hiding and tucked under somewhere.

First row nuber 9 ????
Then its the pads not the bulbs, I thought you ment ELX number 7 light.

Check the pads and the cable that goes to/ from the pad.

Then CHANGE the bulbs, no matter if they work.
That part of the system measures the resistance, so if the resistance falls the lamp goes on.
Bulbs can after some time change the resistance but still be lighten up.

Think i have sussed out the problem for my ecu light coming on :)
This was yesterday:

ive just been out and tested the MAF.(after an hour of last using the car,so engine still would have been warm).B4 i set off,i unplugged the MAF and nothing happened,if anythin the revs dropped and struggled.Went for a quick blast round the block and didnt notice any difference, the revs were as normal and didnt idle irratacly nor did they pass 5k ish mark and i didnt notice any power increase.
So im presuming to think my MAF is faulty?
Also, wen i got back home,i plugged it back in,the revs settled to normal (just under 1k) and the light has now gone out, even after a few high revving..I unplugged it again...light came back on.I put it back in,and light went back out :)

After speaking to Ry off FF,think we come to a decision by saying its the maf at fault and the fact its not just dirty :)
Ill be getting another maf next week si ill be in touch :)

Mike
