Random - how does one even pronounce 'Punto'?

In Italy we say 'Gran' as in 'granny' and 'de' as in the beginning of 'death'. The same as in english. However the main difference is that we roll the r and pronounce the vowls more harshly. If you get what i mean? basically its the same just with an italian accent! for the punto bit say 'pun' and then the 'to' from 'tot' not 'toe'. Same again the o is pronounced slightly differently in italian. Vowls are pronounced more clearly thean in english. hope that helps!

You could say it so it rhymes with 'unto' :p As in, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

But I found that just confounded my friends and amazed my enemies...

I think the U is normally pronounced as in 'push' and the O as in 'tow', that seems to be the most common, but you have the proper answer from Mario above :)

Si, lo capisco

What does punto mean? someone once told me it was the dot over the little (i) is that right, our quality controller at work has a punto with a big pink sunstripe and i flicked his p off his punto badge and replaced it with the letter (c) ha ha he not happy but its true Ant!

I have a Portugese mate who says Punto is Portugese slang for 'small male member'; dunno if that's true or not ;) I say Pun Toe, just for the record.
