Rake's M-03R

Introduction

Hardly you're regular Motor thread but...

Well, after much anticipation, here it is.

After owning multiple Tamiya M-03's and an M-03L amongst TT and TL-01's.
I managed to bag myself a Tamiya M-03R, Limited Edition, Blue Plated Version.

After having the kit sat in the box for a few years, the build has begun.

Am not looking to race or drive this, she will undoubtedly be my "Shelf Queen"

Am gonna be slowly upgrading parts and build it to the best spec I can.

First a few pictures...

Well, all opinions welcome, also any upgrade options or sites to check for parts you can recommend....

And if it turns out good, well, it may even end up with a Fiat Body
Yeah, may be changing them though... Bought some adjustable coilovers.. I'll put a pic up later, see what you think.

And yeah, I have 3 cameras, inc a DSLR but don't have a PC to upload anything...., blew that up years ago haha

Here are the alternative suspension, as usual, poor picture quality.....damn HTC.

Trying to change as much of the plastic parts to the blue aluminum counterparts.

I'm sure they're far superior from a performance point of view and still look damn tasty. There is something just soo cool about being able to see the inside of something as it works though. :)

This should be one of the nicest motors in this section when it's finished. :D

The only remnants of my TL-01 chassis is the rear arms on an M-03 chassis, extra wide on the rear.:)

Well this chassis's not being used but I could fit them to another for that.... As I think I'm gonna go with the alloy suspension.

Everywhere I look for new alloy parts is always out of stock...:(
