When i bought my car something was on the windows that made the water totaly disperse from them looked really cool and helped with visability. what was it and where can i get it?

you can also get a Kit in lidl for £5 made by W5 called something like "Nano glass treatment" comes with a cleaning block of oasis think soft polystyrene, 2 micro fiber cloths and 50ml of solution enough to do all the glass on the GP (i did mine this weekend)

Ooo, there is a Lidl just across the road, I may go have a scan for that in a wee while!

another alternative is halfords own rain repellant. i put this into a small spray head bottle, so you dont waste any product.
A good idea is to do it when you wash the car.
I wash the glass of the car first, then dry it, spray the glass with the repellant, wipe on with a cloth, go round a 2nd time to ensure full coverage and rewash the car (paintwork etc) and dry as normal. lasts well, and no issues in the few yrs i've used it.

keep an eye out for halfords 3 for 2 offers.

Tried Rain-X but it's a hassle to put on and requires frequent re-application. I've since been using Ombrello (or Aquapel) which is very easy to apply and lasts for over a year - I did 25k miles before it started to be less effective.

Can be had for around a fiver an ampoule here, or on
1
ebay for a tenner. As a guide, one ampoule covered all the windows, lights and mirrors on a Mk3 Mondeo.
