Hello,

I want to remove the radio from my 2019 panda, but i can't do this. I bought 2 different removal tool but the radio is not moving, it's like being stuck.
For this car need and special radio removal tool? How can I remove? If i remove the X carpit can i remove the radio without tool?

I cut off the tool, i a tried with these pieces. In the normal case the removal is easy with this tool? It's like there's an extra fastener or glued.

As @Herts Hillhopper says, there are only two holes, if you cut one of the traditional U shaped tools in half remember you have to orientate the notches at the ends to engage with the latches on the radio. from memory you have to hold the radio head unit with the modified tools as if you were trying to pull it out with chop sticks (does this make any sense?!).

To add to that: push the tools in until they click. That releases the catches holding the radio. Then, push the left tool over towards the left, and the right to the right… keeping that sideways pressure applied, pull them both towards you. That should release the radio. It comes with a sudden jolt.

That's what I was trying to say! :ROFLMAO:

It only has one hole at either side. You have to bend the U shaped tool so just one ‘prong’ is used on either side.

In fact, when I bent the u shaped tool it snapped, leaving two single bits. These worked perfectly, one at either side.
