Technical Radio removal 2016 Fiat 500

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and have just purchased a 2016 Fiat 500 and am wondering how to remove the radio unit as i want to connect a bluetooth kit. Any assistance will be very much appreciated.

There are four little blanking covers, remove those, then use a bit of welding rod, coat hanger etc to 'release' the stereo.

You'll need a fascia kit to fit a new unit. The old head unit is CANBUS controlled, so you'll either need a kit or run in an accessory wire.

Are you using the existing head unit, just connecting something like a Dension gateway or Xcarlink unit?
Not sure what the new car head unit look like, ours is (old)
