Technical Radio not working passenger door wiring/speaker the culprit

Hi all

Radio will only work with the passenger door wide open! It seems a wiring problem but no idea what any ideas?

First check the wires are not loose at the speakers. Our Panda has a similar issue. If not this, then it sounds like a damaged wire probably in the area of the door hinge. You will need to check and repair if thats the case.

It's a work van so I can't really go too in deep looking but it's definitely an issue with wiring in the door because it will work with the door wide OPEN! as soon as you close it even a little it will go off.

Very irritating grrrrrrrr

It seems not at all uncommon with Fiats for the wiring to fail where it enters the door. Not impossible to fix but annoying i=when you spend a lot of time in the hting. Good luck with it.
