I've just bought a fiat bravo, and want to replace the standard tape player with a c.d. player, can i fit a normal car cd player or does it have to be a fiat one due the the size, if an adapter can be bought does anyone know where from and how much

Yes, you can fit a standard size headunit. Pop into your Fiat dealer and ask them to remove it. They shouldn't charge labour. Someone else on here suggested using feeler gauges.

One of our regulars - Jamie - has found a supplier for the adapter fascia panel and they look fairly decent quality compared with Fiat's own and Halfords. Neither of the last two adapter panels fit that well.
