Technical Radio Display Problem

Anyone had problems with Standard Fiat Radio Cassette Display.
Over last few days I have random pixels on Led showing black in the area of about one Character they resemble an omega symbol It looks like my Displays on its way out and I don`t think Audio equipment is covered in third year warranty.
There are random pixels below the normal Display line again in the same area.

Sorry to here that havnt got a clue about this kind of stuff with all your omega symbals and pixies but mine is working fine

This describes the built-in display test.

The unit won't be covered under a 3rd year warranty as Audio/ICE equipment is covered by a separate 12-month warranty. ebay has a radio cassette player for sale.

the omega symbol seems familar, I have seen in on mine but to be fair, I skipped the standard tape player and put in a CD player.

I've not had symbols displaying, but my display is poor, it's not bold black on orange any more, it's a faded transparent light grey on orange, you can hardly see the text!
