Sorry for replying on this thread, but I am new and could not find a way to msg you directly. I managed to end up with a Fiat Strada 1.6 ELX 2005, I am from South Africa. I have to sort out a few small issues. Are there any way you can help me with s work shop manual for this model please. I know they are 90% same as the Palio so either way it ok. Hope you find this message and have a way to assist me.

The code 2646 does not work.

If you can attach a photo of the serial number (it will start with BP or CM) I'll get that sorted for you.

That's not the label with the serial number - there should be another one on the side - it looks like this:

(In this case the serial is BP738987122844)

Not this one - it's the label on the side (the example I posted above is from your model radio)

It will start with BP (Not the BP - Nr on the label you posted)

The code for serial BP738950040509 is indeed 2646.

I can't imagine why, but if it was using the older algorithm then the code would be either 2422 or 8422 (I don't think you can go up to 8 though)
