radio annoying

radio station when selected will not stay on say radio1 keeps beeping then goes on search then search and more bloody searches then picks up say radio2 then more beeps and searches help! ive got the factory fiat radio on my x reg brava 1.6sx

where do u live? There has recently been a fire at a base station in cambridgeshire. It carries all bbc and some local stations, many mobile networks have been a bit bad too, if you live far away then im not sure what the prob is, as i ripped my fiat set out the day i got the car

Try and look at the earth point of the Aerial in the roof it may need clean
check the fitting in the back of the radio

its not the fire in cambs my works van radio is ok,,,ill try the connection etc etc getting radio 4 when tuned into terry wogan ruins my day
