that cant be right. my 1.4 did 0-60 in less than 9 seconds im sure that my speedos correct too. the only mods ive made performance wise is an induction kit cat back exhaust and harder springs. i **** you not!

Cheers Daz, sounds like a stupid question, but can I find out from the dashboard somehow? When the car was new it had metallic paint & alloy wheels which were extras so its possible it might have ABS

they test the cars 0-60 with a specific load not one man 3 liters of fuel and smokin the tyrs

If it has ABS, you will have ABS sensor warning lights on your breaks and an ABS warning light on your dash.
Simple.

Open the bonnet and look at the far right corner of the engine bay, if you see a unit that has grey steel pipes coming from it, then you have ABS. Otherwise you wont have.
The ABS light is to the right of the Keycode light, however, this is standard in all dashboards and it may not be wired in if you dont have ABS, dont take it that your cars got ABS because on your dash you can see the ABS symbol.
If it lights up when you turn your ignition, then its got ABS.

Try driving along (on a quiet road) braking hard and see if you skid or can feel the abs.
This is only a suggestion, whether or not you take it seriously is up to you.
