General Quick Question

How does everyone here connect their stand alone satnav. I only have a power point on the drivers side of the handbrake and it makes it very akward to get it connected and not impead the gearbox or the handbrake.

Well you could aways hard wire it in and then at least you could hide the cable, I myself love the challenge of getting somewhere new by using a good old fashioned map and my knowledge of the country.

It has never let me down yet but i do have nokia maps in my phone should i need it but very rarely do i use it.

All i do is have a phone cradle up by the mirror on the windscreen and the curly cable from socket to phone, Doesn't really cause me any grief doing it this way and i get to use my phone hands free as a bonus.

i just let it dangle mate, feed the wire down the passenger side and up the dash. was thinking of removing the A Piller trim and feeding the cable down there and hardwiring it into somewhere. and having the satnav just above my head where the sunvisor comes down.
