Quick Detailers - Safe To Use Between Washes?

I have a fair amount of Megs QD spray left ove since claying my car. I notice that on the side of the bottle it says that it can be used between washes to touch up areas that are sporting light dirt/dust. I tried this on the wing mirrors with a microfibre cloth and it did come up very well, but I'm cautious about using it on larger areas of paintwork - it just seems wrong rubbing a cloth all over fine dust, can't be good for the paint. Anyone care to comment please?

only on a just washed car ie you wash car drive to a show, then use it. i wouldnt use it on dirt/dust that has collected over days

Cheers, yeah I used it a couple of days later on spots I had missed with positive results.
