Where is the best place to put a cold air feed for an induction kit in a 1.616v?
I am contemplating either cutting a hole in the black plastic at the front of the bumper, or, what i have done at the moment, is keep my original cold air vent at the front, and attach a hose leading from that to the induction filter.
Which one do you think is best, or is there another option?
Also, on the 1.6 model, does the fuel filter need to be changed ritually or is it one of the ones where it is inaccessible without being an A grade mechanice. Cause fuel consumption is ridiculous, even before I fitted the induction kit, and I'm trying to eliminate reasons. Fuel filter or thermostat I'm guessing at the moment.(Just for the record, I haven't had the car long, I haven't just left it for 11 years!
)
Thanks,
Lora
