The coolant thermostat on my Scudo 2.0jtd (2004) is the type with a rubber seal that is attached to the outside edge of the stat itself. I haven't opened up the stat cover yet, but am curious to know if this rubber seal forms the seal between the stat cover and stat's hole in block?
Or do I need a to buy another gasket to make this seal?
