Hi all, just wondering if anyone has come across this before, I can't find it in a search.
I did an oil and filter change, putting the correct amount of oil in, 3.4 litres, 3 bottles and 0.4.
The dipstick is only half way between min and max.
I've ran the car now for about 1k miles, still the oil level is the same.
Could the dipstick be wrong? I don't want to over fill, especially being a diesel.

It's 2015 qubo 1.3 multijet 95.
Cartridge filter with reusable housing.
I just drained sump and changed the filter.
Thanks for replies.

For the 500 1.3 16V MJet then the 1st fill capacity is 2940 grams. Selenia WR 5-W40 has a specific gravity of 0.855 so 2.94kg of oil is 3.44 Litres.

On modern Fiats I have found that 0.5L will take the oil level from min to max so if you are mid way then we are talking about 250cc variance in 3440cc. (7%)

I would fill to max mark and not worry but just keep an eye on things.
