Styling question on mk1 punto side skirts

i have the standard mk1 sporting/gt skirts on my car, they are unpainted. they are fixed by panel pins that spring open when fitted, i want to get a new pair, spray them and fit them. has any1 had the experience of taking them off....

no but when fitting new ones use bond not pins, there are some gsm skirts on ebay at the moment, i need some one to out bid me because i don't need them:I
