Pretty much as the title suggests. Absolutely no idea how to do it, my previous attempt caused water ingress, so would love some fresh ideas on how to do it.
Thanks.

Hey, I did this 2 weeks ago, I was confused myself, turns out it's surprisingly simple, follow the thick bundle of cables from the inside of your bonnet on the right hand side, they should lead underneath the plastic cover at which the wipers sit on top of. Now all you need to do in un-screw this, lift it up slightly and you will find yourself a rubber gromet at which you can drill through and thread the cable down into your car.

Hoping this makes sense? Cheers. Let me know if you need anything else explaing as I'm not sure I did a very good job there^

Would this not cause any water to leak into the car? I haven't had chance to look yet, but will have a look tomorrow.

No, 100% water tight. Drill a smaller hole through the rubber gromet than what your power cable is and when you thread the cable through it will be tight so no water can pass through.

We couldn't find a way from the battery to the cabin through the bulkhead so we put it by the doorframe and then through the door sill plastics

DO NOT DO THIS!
I did this and it caused water to slowly creep in, luckily no electrical damage/corrosion. Just some drenched sound deadening that I was able to dry out in the airing cupboard.

It's worked well so far lol , as I live in scotland it rains a lot and Iv seen no leaks yet lol

I didn't see the leaks, I smelt them..... It was underneath the carpet in the passenger footwell. I would seriously suggest taking a look under your carpet and checking.

Found the photo, this is what I had to do. Carpet up and sound deadening to dry. ImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1405800659.980561.jpg

There's nothing there bro , goes through the door and straight to the plastics down by the bonnet release , we done it with my mates corsa b and it was fine and it's turned out all good so far lol
