Well, theres multiple methods, but its based on the fact that the wheelclamps at uni are fairly easy to exploit (I understand).
Method one -Alloy Wheels
1. remove valve cap and deflate tyre on affected wheel (improvise!)
2. Raise wheel off the ground using the car jack
3. Wrench wheel clamp off wheel (shouldnt be that hard)
4. Remove wheel and swap for spare
5. See "all"
Method Two - steel wheels
1. lever off wheel trim progressively around rim, and remove from wheel.
2. get extension bar from boot, with right socket on (or nick the necessaries from the Engineering dept), and undo wheel nuts.
3. Raise car on jack
4. Remove nuts from wheel (should be adequate space to do so)
5.Swap for spare
6. See "All"
All Methods
1. Leave carpark driving on spare wheel. Head for petrol station
2. Deflate clamped wheel, pull clamp away from wheel. Put clamp in boot
3. Reinflate deflated wheel, put back in car, put spare back in correct place.
4. Drive back to carpark, stop outside security \ clampers office, take clamp inside and give to clamper (service with a smile
)
I have heard this working at uni, and at numerous carparks in Manchester. The key is, not to damage the clamp (before and after piccys are useful, if yuve got a cameraphone!). I cant be held responsible for your misendevour though!!
