Hmm, I may still be in at the 10+ price, but certainly not the 5+ price. But we'll see what comes back with the speedo drive gear removed from the quote - might be better then?

Matt is prepared to talk to Mike Quaife on Monday regarding this cost issue.
I have asked for a price for a 15 or 20 off quantity, as I currently have orders for 11, plus one possible.

Quaife have offered me a 20 off Batch at £525 + VAT + Shipping. The shipping will vary, as I'll be collecting them and sending them on to you all.
How does that sound??
If you're in, tell everyone on the GP and 500 sections all about this, and if you're not still in, tell them anyway. As before, I don't mind ending up stuck with a couple. And for those warried about paying, they wont be ready until April at the earliest anyway!!!
If you want to pull out, no worries, just please let me know. If anyone doesn't trust me, and thinks I'm trying to make a fast buck, feel free to call Quaife. Matt Simmons is the guy I'm dealing with.

Now that is a bit more of a realistic price would still be nicer if were a bit less though

because of how this seams and another batch will be expensive I will seriously consider putting my name down. but really i need a couple of months to save/sort my money out.

I put a post on the GP forum, and it was removed by the powers that be....
Perhaps someone else could mention it???
It will only fit the 1.2 and 1.4 GP's though. I dont think it'll fit the Turbo models?

As soon as I get your deposit, you're in. If you want to send a cheque, I won't cash it until you say...how does that sound.
I may sound desperate, but in truth, I am. This has all gone very wrong as far as I'm concerned, and now getting the extra people on board could be a struggle. There is one person for eaxmple, who will pull out if we dont get 20 by the end of Feb!!

Unless we get some commercial people on board i very much doubt 20 is acheivable. Much as i would love one of these the 20+price is my top money especially when it could involve new crown wheel or gearbag etc.
So it is me that has had to put a stake in the ground.
Unlike some my Cinq is only one of my toy cars, and to be honest they could all benefit from this kind of money spending on them. This is not pocket money we are talking about here and I am not prepared to sit on this indefinatly on the possibility that others may join at some point.
So for me if this doesn't come together by the end of this month i'm out. if however you get to 18/19 and need another one in a few more months and the exchange rates are more favourable, I may be convinced to change my mind.
