Is it because of the air filter?? And is it normal for them to use more fuel??? Thanks matt

MAPs don't seem to worry overmuch about aftermarket filters -- I hear that Alfa MAFs dislike them with a vengeance. The fuelling thing could just be the weather.

Was it the sensor or the pipe full of fluid that caused the failure? Cheers SPD

Careful, the fact that its not behaving doesn't mean the component itself was the cause. Remove the MAP pipe and blow it out over clean paper to make sure its not contaminated. Visually check the pipe and the connections for splits. Cheers SPD
